Karen Buchanan is a sequential artist pursuing a BFA at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). Originally from Pennsylvania, she is known for doodling on just about anything she can get her hands on, falling asleep on public transportation, and laughing like a lawn mower failing to start. 

​In her work, she likes to explore themes of humor, joy, and general tomfoolery.  She will be continuing her mission of sprinkling a little chaos everywhere she goes as a full-time marketer at Duolingo after graduation.
