SUMMARY:Free Comic Book Day 2025
DESCRIPTION:Free Comic Book Day in Savannah GA 2025 with special guest artist Andrew MacLean!\n \nFREE COMIC BOOK DAY is the first Saturday in May. This year\, it’s May 3 and we’re celebrating our 6th anniversary. Huge thanks to Victor Alpi for creating this year’s poster. \nSPECIAL GUEST \nOur special guest is ANDREW MACLEAN (Headlopper\, Godzilla\, New Gods). Andrew will be signing at the shop from 10-12 and we’ll have plenty of his books for you to pick up. The signing is free but please limit your items to 3 or fewer. \nTIMES \nLine up starts at 9AM on the Duffy St. side of our building. Please do not block the entrances to our neighbor businesses. \nThe gate opens at 10AM. Like previous years\, the line will funnel through the back courtyard which will have photo ops and free comics. You’ll exit through the store and have a chance to meet Andrew and check out. \nAt noon\, we will close the back area\, move the free books inside and conclude Andrew’s signing. We’ll be open the remainder of the day normal hours until 6PM and free comics will be available while supplies last. Like previous years\, we will run out of some titles so be there early. \nBOOK LIMIT + CHARITY DONATIONS \nOur free book limit this year is 5 books per person. HOWEVER if you bring in an item of men’s clothing for donation (new or used in good condition) you can get up to 10 books. The donations will be presented to Emmaus House for distribution to community members in need. Personally\, I’m going to clean out my t-shirt drawers which are constantly overflowing. \nFCBD guests will also get a special discount code to buy tickets to Superstar Comic Con Saturday and Sunday to extend the fandom love all weekend long. \nPlease reach out with any questions.
